Mission

  • Cultivate Indigenous youth leaders with local concerns and a global perspective, enhancing empathetic dialogue and practical action in public participation.
  • Deepen understanding and identification with Indigenous cultures; foster cross-ethnic youth exchanges and establish cooperative learning and mutual support partnerships.
  • Build friendships with Indigenous peoples abroad, promote their understanding of Taiwan's Indigenous peoples, and strengthen the international connections of Taiwan's Indigenous communities.

Target Audience 

  • Teachers: Educators with Indigenous identity from their hometowns who are fluent in Chinese and English.
  • Students: Indigenous students in 11th grade of high school or vocational school and those in higher education institutions (based on the grade level at the time of application; proof of attendance at junior high or elementary schools required). Students who have not previously received sponsorships for studying abroad, study tours, further education, research, training programs, or scholarships awarded by foreign governments, institutions, or schools. Students from low-income households are given priority for admission.
