In the summer of 2011, the Taitung County Government, Tiehua Village, Mandarin Airlines, and the Alliance Cultural Foundation jointly organized the "Latin Summer 2011" concert and workshops. They invited Li Shou-Hsin, hailed as the top drummer in the recording industry and the resident drummer for A-Mei's concerts, as well as a member of the Taroko tribe in Hualien, to serve as the music director. This event aimed to create new creative sparks by bringing Indigenous music face-to-face with world music. Additionally, we arranged for Li Hung-Sung, the chairman of Dunhuang Musical Instruments, to conduct courses to cultivate high-quality stage audio and lighting talent in Taitung.

The success of stage performances, besides the performers, hinges on the perfect presentation by the lighting and audio control personnel. We aim to nurture stage hardware talent in Taitung, so it becomes a place that best represents Taiwan's musical culture in the future.
