Sakinu Ahronglong's book, "The Mountain Boar, the Flying Squirrel, and Sakinu," is mandatory reading for the Applied Chinese Departments at both Harvard University and Columbia University in the USA. A Paiwan tribe member, Sakinu founded the "Hunter School" to promote a more inclusive definition of Indigenous identity that transcends bloodlines, welcoming everyone.
