▌Sports and Health Workshop│Sep 2016
"Sports" is a lifestyle and an attitude toward life. Unlike professional sports schools that focus on cultivating talent, the Junyi Teacher Training Center offers the "Sports and Health Workshop." This workshop introduces new sports and health concepts to teachers, with professional coaches helping to develop physical education courses and health assessments tailored to the developmental stages and needs of students of different ages.
▌Nautical and Shipbuilding Workshop │ August 2016 - February 2017
Since 2015, Junyi School has integrated the local natural environment into a "Canoeing and Sailing" course for students in the tenth grade. This course takes students through boat building, self-rescue and lifesaving, rowing practice, and firsthand sailing experiences. It aims to help students explore themselves, integrate and apply skills, and foster team cooperation. In 2016, the Junyi Teacher Training Center further incorporated the concept of "interdisciplinary teaching" by inviting industry experts to collaborate on themed courses. These workshops are open to teachers from various schools interested in developing outdoor / nature experiential education and life education.
▌Drama Workshop│December 2015 till now
Drama integrates diverse elements such as script, performance, and aesthetics, making it an excellent medium for guiding students to learn about emotional experiences, life reflections, and creativity. Since 2015, the Junyi Teacher Training Center has organized various drama lectures and workshops. These events invite drama instructors and theater professionals to offer multifaceted courses covering theoretical concepts, teaching methods, and hands-on experiences. This enables teachers to use performing arts as a medium to assist in their teaching.
