Hualien-Taitung Youths Returning Home
In the past, it was common for Hualien-Taitung youths to leave their hometown due to the lack of opportunities to sustain their livelihood. In recent years, the youths have slowly returned, bringing their gained experiences home with them. This story highlights three youths who returned and shared the efforts they have made in their community.
3rd annual Sharestart Asia Conference: Connect & Extend
Sharestart Asia Conference is an annual conference co-organized by The Alliance Cultural Foundation (ACF) and Chengzhi Education Foundation since 2016. 8th to 9th December 2018 marks its third year running. Themed Connect & Extend it aimed to connect people and organizations of different specialties and extend the Sharestart method to peers worldwide.
Shih’s Story: Changing the Lives of Many
The Alliance Cultural Foundation (ACF) met Mr. Shih in 2013. After two face-to-face encounters, Shih committed five years to the Junyi School of Innovation, donating funds to establish his nonprofit organization in Taiwan to support its underprivileged youths.
